2010 World Cup Soccer

Lesotho's neighbour, South Africa, has been granted the rights to host Football's greatest event, the 2010 World Cup football event. This has created an opportunity for Lesotho to attract those attending this event to the Mountain Kingdom. There will be gaps in between the various matches and Lesotho invites those with interest to come and explore the world's highest and most peaceful country.

Motebong Village is located in the majestic highlands of Lesotho and is a must-visit for all visitors. The thoughts of snow in Africa are still intriguing for many from other countries and continents, and the opportunity to ski in Africa between the different matches must be compelling.

Motebong village has teamed up with a number of lodges and resorts for this period and invites all International visitors to South Africa to spend a day or two in the mountain kingdom. Perhaps longer! Its proximity to some of the centres hosting the soccer make it possible! For more information, either contact Motebong Village or the grouping discussed above at www.lesotho2010.org.
